Faktor Penyebab dan Dampak Gaya Hidup Hedonis terhadap Perilaku Belajar Peserta Didik: Sebuah Systematic Literature Review
Abstract
The rapid development of digital technology and social media has significantly influenced students' lifestyles, including the increasing tendency toward a hedonistic lifestyle. This phenomenon has become an important issue in education because it may affect students' learning behavior, character development, and academic achievement. This study aims to identify the factors contributing to students' hedonistic lifestyle and analyze its implications for learning behavior based on previous empirical studies. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines. Relevant literature was collected from Google Scholar, Scopus, ERIC, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink, and Garuda using appropriate keywords. A total of ten scientific articles published between 2016 and 2026 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed. The findings indicate that a hedonistic lifestyle is influenced by internal factors, including self-concept and religiosity, as well as external factors such as social media exposure, peer influence, and digital culture. Furthermore, the synthesized literature suggests that a hedonistic lifestyle may negatively influence students' learning behavior by reducing time management skills, learning concentration, and academic orientation. Therefore, strengthening character education, digital literacy, and collaboration among schools, families, and communities is essential to prevent the development of hedonistic lifestyles among students and to support positive learning behavior.
