Analisis Potensi Desa Untuk Mendukung Koperasi Desa Merah Putih Desa Kedungpoh Kecamatan Loano Kabupaten Purworejo

Abstract

Purworejo Regency consists of 16 sub-districts, 25 urban villages, and 469 villages. The establishment of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative aims to drive local economic development at the village level and also to encourage the strengthening of the local community economy through a cooperative approach based on the principles of mutual cooperation and family. The idea of ”‹”‹establishing this cooperative emerged as a response to the real needs of village communities for economic institutions that can strengthen food security and support the welfare of residents in a sustainable manner. The main focus is to strengthen the local economic system by involving residents as part of a joint business system. Based on the Presidential Instruction of 2025 concerning the Acceleration of the Establishment of the Merah Putih Village/Urban Cooperative and Circular Letter of the Minister of Cooperatives No. 1 of 2025 concerning Procedures for the Establishment of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative, this cooperative also aims to create village economic independence, strengthen MSMEs, and increase food security through several business units. Cooperative business units are expected to be able to create and expand employment opportunities that absorb local workers.
