Green Entrepreneurial Orientation and Eco-Efficiency asResilience Strategies for MSMEs in the Era of the Permacrisis

The permacrisis era presents constant uncertainties for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), whether in terms of operations, finance, or even the market. This situation drives MSMEs to develop adaptive and sustainable business strategies. This study aims to examine the role of Green Entrepreneurial Orientation and eco-efficiency in strengthening MSME resilience amid economic, environmental, and digital disruptions. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature review, analyzing various national and international journal articles on sustainable SMEs, green entrepreneurship, and eco-efficiency practices. The results indicate that Green Entrepreneurial Orientation fosters SMEs’ capacity for greater innovation through environmentally friendly business practices, while eco-efficiency helps SMEs improve operational efficiency through resource optimization, waste reduction, and energy conservation. Digitalization also contributes to strengthening sustainability practices through digital marketing, online-based supply chain management, and more efficient production systems. The integration of green entrepreneurship and eco-efficiency can serve as a key strategy for SMEs to maintain competitiveness and business sustainability in the era of the permacrisis.
