Penerapan Thematic Collaborative Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Siswa SD

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh thematic collaborative learning terhadap kemampuan berfikir kritis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment) dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri Mangunan kota Yogyakarta. Sampel yang dipilih berdasarkan random sampling sedangkan instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa tes Essay untuk mengukur kemampuan berfikir kritis. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian di analisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran tematik antara siswa yang belajar menggunakan collaborative learning dengan siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan ekspositori. Siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan thematic collaborative learning memiliki tingkat kemampuan berfikir kritis yang lebih tinggi dibandingan dengan siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Ekspositori.
