The study aims to determine the effect of the Cooperative Integraed Reading and Composition(CIRC) model on improving students reading comprehension skills. This research is motivated by several prblems, including grade II student who have not comprehension. It can be seen that when students are asked questions about the content of the reading read, students cannot answer quickly and must reopen the reading material they read. When students are invited to rewrite the content of the reading text that has been read, students still do not understand so they have to reread the reading text. And the right learning model has not been applied to Indonesian language learning. The research used is classroom action research. In this classroom action research, peer observers directly observed learning activitiesusing the CIRC model in class. This tesearch wasconducted at SDIT Ar Risalah Secang, Secang Village, Secang District, Magelang Regency. The researcher chose SDIT Ar Risalah Secang because no one had conducted research at this school. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the percentage of student learning completeness from cycle I and cycle II. In the first cycle of the first meeting as many as 2 students with a percentage of 9.09% were declared complete and in the second meeting as many as 10 students with a percentage of 45.45% were declared complete. In the second cycle of the first meeting as many as 15 students with a percentage of 68.18% were declared complete and in the second meeting as many as 19 students with a percentage of 86.36% were declared complete. This can be evidence that the use of the CIRC model can improve the reading comprehension ability of grade II students of SDIT Ar Risalah Secang

Keywords: CIRC model, reading comprehension ability, matery learning.

Tibta Ilmiahwati IlmiahwatiArif Wiyat Wiyat PurnantoKun Hisnan Hajron

https://journal.unimma.ac.id/index.php/Paedagogie/article/view/11507

This research aims to improve the professionalism of informal teachers in Yogyakarta through the application of the Peer Observation and Evaluation method. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) involving ten private teachers as research subjects. A qualitative approach was used to collect and analyze data in an effort to understand the impact of applying this method on improving teacher professionalism. This research was carried out in two cycles, starting from planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Each cycle involves concrete steps in implementing the peer Observation and Evaluation method. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, then analyzed using qualitative analysis. The research results show that the application of Peer Observation and Evaluation can significantly increase the professionalism of informal teachers in Yogyakarta. It was found that through the process of peer observation and evaluation, teachers can obtain constructive feedback to improve the quality of their teaching and professional abilities. Apart from that, collaboration between teachers also increases, creating a mutually supportive learning environment. This research provides an important contribution in the context of informal teacher professional development. The practical implication of this research is the importance of introducing and applying the Peer observation and evaluation method in the context of informal education as a means of improving the quality of teaching and teacher professionalism.
Rahma Kurnia NovitasariAmanda Destyana Putri

https://journal.unimma.ac.id/index.php/Paedagogie/article/view/9515

This study aims to improve the learning discipline of students through reward and punishment methods in learning Mathematics grade 1 SD Kanisius Kotabaru Yogyakarta. This type of research is a class action research carried out in two cycles. For each cycle through 4 stages namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research model used is the Kemmis-Taggart model. The subjects of this study were grade 1 students of SD Kanisius Kotabaru Yogyakarta totaling 13 students. The object in this study is the learning discipline of learners in Mathematics learning. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation, field notes and interviews. Data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive statistics. This study used success indicators with an average value of learning discipline, which is 81-100% with a very good category.

The results showed that through the reward and punisment method, the learning discipline of grade 1 students of SD Kanisius Kotabaru in learning Mathematics has increased. This can be seen from the results of the pre-cycle percentage of 53.8% with the medium category, in cycle 1 it increased by a percentage of 76.1%, then increased in cycle II to 84.6%. This shows that using reward and punishment can improve student learning discipline.
Reza FitrianaTarsisius Sarkim

https://journal.unimma.ac.id/index.php/Paedagogie/article/view/11482

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how the use of tangram learning materials in the Project Based Learning (PJBL) paradigm can enhance students' learning activities in the mathematics topic of flat shape construction and decomposition. This article describes a type of research known as Classroom Action Research (PTK), in which 17 research participants from class IV pupils at Sembungan State Elementary School participated in two cycles of action during the academic year 2023–2024. The average proportion of learning activities grew from 63.441% in cycle I to 75.176% in cycle II, according to the results of the observations. After taking action in cycle II, there was a notable increase. This research demonstrates how well project-based learning with the aid of tangram media improves student learning outcomes, which are directly tied to what students learn during class.
Cahya Amalia HutamiWahyu KurniawatiDanuri Danuri

https://journal.unimma.ac.id/index.php/Paedagogie/article/view/11481

This research aims to apply the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model to increase student activity in learning science and ecosystem material in class V elementary school. The PjBL method used involves students in a project to make ecosystem dioramas, which is carried out in groups. Each group was assigned to make dioramas of various types of ecosystems such as marine ecosystems, savanna, tundra and tropical rainforest. The learning process includes an introduction to ecosystem concepts, research and analysis, as well as presentation and discussion of student work. From the research results, the data shows a significant increase in student activity from 25% in the pre-cycle to 75% in the first cycle. PBL helps overcome boredom in traditional teacher-centered learning methods, encouraging students' activeness, creativity, deep understanding of ecosystems, and communication and collaboration skills. This approach has proven to be effective in increasing the activeness and quality of science learning in the classroom. The application of the PJBL model in science learning with ecosystem material has proven to be effective in increasing students' activeness, creativity, communication and collaboration. This approach not only triggers students to be more active in learning, but also provides a deeper understanding of the ecosystem, as well as developing skills that are important for their future. Therefore, PJBL can be a very effective learning strategy, especially in science subjects.
Fitri Nur RahmaWahyu KurniawatiHeru Purnomo
