This community service program aimed to enhance the capacity of Joint Business Groups (KUBE) in processing excess fish catches into value-added products like fish floss. The activities were implemented using extension and mentoring methods for the “Melai” Joint Business Group. The results indicate that KUBE members gained skills in managing and processing surplus fish catches. The excess fish was transformed into various products, such as salted fish, fish floss, or other ready-to-eat items. Furthermore, the KUBE's income also increased after the program, opening up opportunities for product and market diversification.
2025-06-27T15:09:51+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://journal.unimma.ac.id/index.php/ce/article/view/12074Empowering young entrepreneurs: Financing application programs and bazaar expos to increase competitiveness in Malang, East Java2025-06-28T17:29:05+00:00Nihayatu Aslamatis Solekah[email protected]Esy Nur Aisyah[email protected]
This community service activity was conducted with an entrepreneurship community of budding young entrepreneurs. One of the fish farming groups is Santri Fish Farm, located in Tambong Village, Kabat District. This group cultivates tilapia for consumption and koi as ornamental fish. Feed is a crucial factor supporting successful cultivation, but high feed costs, reaching 30–70% of the total production cost, are a major obstacle in this endeavor. Therefore, this activity aims to enhance the self-reliance of fish farmers in utilizing local raw materials as alternative feed, such as fish meal, snail meal, and water hyacinth. The activities began with the preparation of tools and feed raw materials, training on formulation development, practical feed production, and evaluation. The response to the produced feed showed excellent results. Meanwhile, evaluation results indicated a 50% increase in participants' understanding and skills in formulating local-based feed.
2025-06-27T16:33:32+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://journal.unimma.ac.id/index.php/ce/article/view/12870Building an environmentally conscious generation: The Kidztainia 3.0 initiative in plastic waste management at SDN Cihuni III2025-06-28T17:29:06+00:00Theresia Lavietha Vivire Lolita[email protected]Charlie Tjokrodinata[email protected]Shannon Valery[email protected]
The Kidztainia 3.0 initiative at SDN Cihuni III was designed as an innovative solution to enhance environmental awareness and sustainable waste management behavior among elementary school students. This program aimed to improve students' knowledge, skills, and commitment towards responsible plastic waste management. Implemented over six weeks at the end of 2023, the initiative involved students, teachers, and community members through three main approaches: (1) interactive narrative-based environmental education, (2) practical skills training in waste sorting and recycling drop-box management, and (3) intergenerational collaboration in environmental clean-up activities. Program evaluation showed a significant increase in students' knowledge regarding plastic types (85% improvement in classification ability) and enhanced commitment to sustainable practices. The success of Kidztainia 3.0, supported by the Pentahelix model (academia, industry, community, government, media), demonstrates the potential of school-based service-learning programs in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 and SDG 12, and provides a replicable model for other urban school contexts.
2025-06-27T16:49:29+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://journal.unimma.ac.id/index.php/ce/article/view/12889Marketing assistance for instant herbal drink products in the KBU Sehat home industry group, Banjar Regency2025-06-28T17:29:06+00:00Isnaini Isnaini[email protected]Asnawati Asnawati[email protected]Rahma Yuliani[email protected]
The PKK (Family Welfare Movement) mothers of KBU Village have been producing an instant herbal drink named "WIRAS" herbal medicine. This low sales turnover is primarily due to marketing and sales being conducted only on a local scale. Furthermore, the produced items lack home industry permits (P-IRT), which causes them to be considered illegal for sale. This activity aims to provide assistance in obtaining permits and improving managerial systems related to marketing, enabling wider product distribution both offline (direct sales) and online (digital marketing). The methods employed include assisting with business permit applications, marketing training, and guidance in creating social media and marketplace accounts. The outcomes of this activity are the issuance of P-IRT for the products and an increase in monthly turnover from IDR 375,000 to IDR 1,815,000.
2025-06-27T17:05:52+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://journal.unimma.ac.id/index.php/ce/article/view/12960Socialization of the P5-PPRA learning program for Aisyiyah early childhood education teachers, Gatak District2025-06-28T17:29:07+00:00Sri Lestari[email protected]Choiriyah Widyasari[email protected]Qonitah Faizatul Fitriyah[email protected]Sri Wahyuni Kartikasari[email protected]Wisnu Sri Hertinjung[email protected]Prilya Shanty Andrianie[email protected]Arifah Handayani[email protected]Aisyah Qurrota A'yyun[email protected]Yazid Fadhil Ar Rasyid[email protected]Salmarani Putri Qaidatiningsih[email protected]Shafa Oktavia Nafisah[email protected]Asiyah Khoirun Nisa[email protected]Firdastin Ruthnia Yudiningrum[email protected]
The Project for Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile and Rahmatan Lil Alamin Student Profile (P5-PPRA) learning program has been declared a mandatory program within the Merdeka Curriculum. The open-air location of the aquaculture development offers significant potential for utilizing sunlight to generate electricity. This study implements a Solar Power Plant (SPP) as a power source for aerators installed in biofloc ponds. The installation, operation procedures, maintenance, and repair of the SPP were socialized to Gapoktan Makaryo Nyoto members. The installed SPP successfully powered a 100W, 220V aerator, supplying oxygen to three biofloc ponds. Increased oxygen supply is expected to support fish growth. By the end of the program, Gapoktan Makaryo Nyoto members were proficient in operating and utilizing the SPP, leading to improved fish harvests and quality. The primary objectives of this community engagement activity were to improve SuleMu's marketability through the addition of new flavors and the provision of nutritional value analysis, as well as to enhance product quality by developing derivative products such as soyghurt and frozen yogurt. The activity stages included: (1) mentoring for the diversification of SuleMu derivative products, (2) nutritional value analysis of derivative products, (3) designing product labels compliant with standards, and (4) conducting a market survey on consumer preferences for SuleMu derivative products. Results indicate that SuleMu is now available in new flavors: melon, chocolate, and strawberry. The nutritional content per 100 grams is 3.4–3.5 grams of soluble protein, 3.3–3.7 grams of fat, 5–5.7 grams of reducing sugars, 2.6–3.6 grams of crude fiber, and approximately 39–40 mg of calcium. SuleMu production increased from 5 kg of soybeans to 6 kg per day. Furthermore, consumers showed high interest in the "Soyoghurt" frozen yogurt derivative product, with 42.4% being very interested and positive evaluations regarding taste (36.1%) and affordable price (29.2%). Overall, this community engagement activity successfully increased SuleMu's production by 17%, and soyghurt demonstrates significant potential for development as a highly competitive new innovation.
2025-06-28T16:24:11+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://journal.unimma.ac.id/index.php/ce/article/view/13451Towards data-driven urban planning: Developing a real-time data update framework for unfit-for-habitation houses in Jakarta2025-06-28T17:29:10+00:00Ryan Faza Prasetyo[email protected]Feby Kartika Sari[email protected]Fajar Rezandi[email protected]Adhitya Utama Putra[email protected]
Rapid population growth in DKI Jakarta has led to increased territorial density, resulting in a growing number of slums and a housing gap in the availability of decent housing.
