Valentine’s Day Bagi Mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta : Dari Sudut Pandang Ekonomi, Sosial dan Religi

Abstract
Someone economic level would affect the pattern of life (life style) and consumption patterns. One of them is the habit of celebrating Valentine's day among young people. Penellitian aims to analyze the preferences of Surakarta Muhammadiyah University students on Valentine's day in the viewpoint of economic, social, and religious. This research uses descriptive analysis. The results showed that of the 300 respondents were 26 respondents (8.7%) who celebrate Valentine's day and the remaining 275 respondents (91.3%) did not celebrate Valentine's Day with a variety of reasons.
