Hubungan Lama Sakit Diabetes Melitus dengan Pengetahuan Perawatan Kaki pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Non Ulkus

Abstract

People with diabetes are at risk 29 times for  diabetic ulcers. Knowledge needed by patients to improve diabetes control. This research is very useful to know the relation between long suffering DM with knowledge of DM foot care. The design of this study was cross-sectional using questionnaires as instruments. Sample used with incidental sampling. Data analysis using Spearman test. The results showed there was a significant relationship between the long suffering of DM with knowledge of DM  foot care  with P value 0.001. The results of this study as the input of health personnel in order to increase health education about diabetes foot care, to heal diabetic ulcers.
