Complaints and Appeals Policy
Appeals against editorial decisions
Authors may appeal a decision within 14 days by writing to the editorial office (see the Contact page), with a point-by-point explanation of why the decision should be reconsidered. Appeals based only on disagreement are not considered. The principal editor assigns an editor who was not involved in the original decision, or an additional reviewer, and informs the author of the outcome within 30 days. The decision after an appeal is final.
Complaints about the journal or its processes
Complaints can be sent to the editorial office through the Contact page. The journal acknowledges receipt within 7 days and responds with an outcome within 30 days.
Allegations of misconduct
Plagiarism, data fabrication, authorship disputes, and undisclosed conflicts of interest are handled under the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement, following the COPE flowcharts. Complaints about the principal editor are referred to the publisher, Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang.
