About Journal

Cakrawala: Jurnal Studi Islam is a scientific journal of Islamic studies published by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang. This journal is issued twice a year (June and December) and it is a media for researchers, academics, and practitioners who are interested in the field of Islamic Studies and wished to channel their thoughts and findings. Since 2019, Cakrawala: Jurnal Studi Islam also has been accredited as a scientific journal by the Ministry of Research-Technology and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia as SINTA 3.

All articles published open access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read, download, copy and distribute. Permitted reuse is defined and explained in creative commons under the term of Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Article Processing Charge (APC)

Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)

Authors are No required to pay an Article Submission

Article Publication: 500,000.00 (IDR)

Authors are allowed to pay the publication charge once their article has been accepted for publication

If the authors need the print version, you should pay 100.000.00 (IDR) to cover the production costs.

Waiver Policy

If you do not have sufficient funds to pay for APC, you can request a fee waiver by sending an official letter to us signed by you and the head of your research institute or the Dean. We do not want, our APC to impede the publication of proper works.
