Abstract

Empowering women economically will directly improve a family’s economic situation. To be empowered, these women must partake in innovative projects that allow them to learn various income-earning skills and connect with different opportunities as they expand their networks. This service activity was carried out at the Bungaeja Community Learning Activity Center. A women empowerment workshop with a focus on entrepreneurship training was set up and knowledge was imparted through a participatory learning approach. The results revealed an increase in their ability to perform basic business skills. Furthermore, it revealed great earning potential that can improve a family’s economic independence.
