Perancangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Skripsi (SIMASI): Studi Kasus S1 Teknik Informatika UMMagelang

Abstract

In order to face the challenge of AFTA (Asean Free Trade Area) and AEC (Asean Economic Community) that has already implemented in 2016, college as part of the world of education is responsible for creating new talent in the field of diverse scholarship. Therefore, it is required to learn according to Indonesian Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) and National Standards of Higher Education (SN-DIKTI). Students who are on the high level apply all the science that has been learned following the standard into a thesis. A good management thesis is required to support the system running process smoothly. This research creates a design of thesis management information system which can be used as a reference to build a good system, in order to find and fix the bugs that appear easily. The method that is used in this study is a diagram of Unified Modeling Language (UML) to model the system to be made. The results of this study are several UML diagrams. There are class diagrams, use case diagrams, activity diagrams and sequence diagrams. It is expected to develop software that can meet all user needs with complete and precise, including scalability, robustness, and security.
