About Journal

Our Uniqueness and Mission

Community Empowerment is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to disseminating and communicating the successes of community development programs to academicians, society, and industry. Compared to other scientific journals in the same subject area, Community Empowerment leads in publishing reports and documentation on the downstreaming of expertise and/or research results to address community issues.

This leading position aligns with our mission to provide information on community development, from scientific foundations to tangible prosperity, particularly in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) programs. This contribution is driven by Journal's nature as a publication of an Indonesian educational institution, given that the Indonesian government is among the few worldwide that mandates academicians to publish their community development outcomes.
