Prof. Dr. Márcio Bacci da Silva Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1986), Master in Mechanical Engineering also from the Federal University of Uberlândia (1991), and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Warwick in England (1998). He is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia. He was the coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Mechanical Engineering at UFU (May / 2005-April / 2009). He has experience in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on Manufacturing Processes, working mainly on the following subjects: machining, machinability, turning, milling, drilling, and internal threading.
