Automotive Experiences (AE) is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation across the entire vehicle lifecycle, from design, manufacturing, operation, maintenance, and transportation systems to policy and societal impacts. The journal recognizes that modern vehicle development is inherently multidisciplinary, integrating engineering, energy, materials science, environmental science, informatics, ergonomics, economics, health sciences, and regulatory studies.
The journal publishes original research, reviews, and technical studies that contribute to the development, engineering, and implementation of all vehicle types, including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, heavy-duty vehicles, rail vehicles, military vehicles, aircraft, and marine transportation systems. Emphasis is placed on studies that provide significant scientific, technological, methodological, or practical contributions rather than merely demonstrating established principles.
Automotive Experiences welcomes contributions on emerging automotive technologies and environmental sustainability; energy and fuel systems; vehicle efficiency; safety and driving comfort; automotive manufacturing and advanced materials; vehicle maintenance and technical competencies; and transportation policies, intelligent mobility systems, and road-user behavior. Particular attention is given to innovations in alternative and renewable energy, electrification, hybrid and fuel-cell technologies, emission reduction strategies, advanced materials, smart transportation, vehicle connectivity, cybersecurity, and sustainable mobility solutions.
