Journal of Holistic Nursing Science is published by the Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang. The Journal's scope in the field of nursing includes several specializations such as Medical-Surgical Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Child Nursing, Maternity Nursing, Mental Nursing, Community Nursing, and Nursing Management, at all age levels and health care orders. JHNS has been indexed by Scopus.

Editor Cornerstone

Sumarno Adi Subrata Ph.D., as Editor-in-Chief, has research expertise in wound care and urology. He is also a member of the Wound Care Alliance in the UK. To fulfill the growing need for nursing care, he developed several algorithms in the wound care and urology care process. As of late, he has published 24 articles (20 of which he authored as the first author) and serves as a reviewer with more than 160 articles reviewed in reputable international journals. Additionally, he serves as the Chief Editor of Innovation in Health for Society, a journal article that focuses on health innovation. In 2024, he was honoured with outstanding recognition at the Journal of Wound Care Awards in the Pressure Care category. Recently, he received the award for 'Continence and Urology Nurse of the Year' from the British Journal of Nursing in 2025, recognizing his outstanding achievements in the field of Urological Nursing.
