Copyright ownership

  • Authors who publish their articles in IHS retain full copyright of their work.
  • IHS does not require authors to transfer their copyright to the journal or its publisher, Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang, Indonesia. The authors grant IHS a license for first publication.

Publishing license and user rights

  • All articles published in IHS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.
  • This license permits users, including readers and the general public, to:
    • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
    • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material. The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms.
  • Under the following conditions:

Copyright of peer review reports

  • Peer reviewers who provide reports for manuscripts submitted to IHS retain copyright of their review reports.

Review reports are shared with authors in an anonymized format (under our double-blind peer review system) to aid in manuscript improvement. IHS will not publish or otherwise share reviewer reports without the explicit permission of the respective reviewers.
