  Meet the Editor

Editor-in-Chief Sumarno Adi Subrata, Ph.D., has wound care and urology research expertise. He is also a pioneer of several algorithms in the wound care and urology care process. During this time, he published 26 articles (21 of which he authored as the first author) and serves as a reviewer with more than 170 articles reviewed in reputable international journals. Additionally, he serves as the Chief Editor of Journal of Holistic Nursing Science (Scopus), a journal published article in nursing research. In 2024, he was honored with an outstanding recognition at the Journal of Wound Care Awards in the Pressure Care category. Recently, he received the award for 'Continence and Urology Nurse of the Year' from the British Journal of Nursing in 2025, recognizing his outstanding achievements in the field of Urological Nursing.
